THE VOID – MEMORIAL FOR 26-11 MUMBAI BLAST The solid form is derived from the trail of the void emerging from the gateway of India’s arches, establishing its presence within the context of the existing architectural vocabulary. It also represents how the victims and survivors symbolically stood as brave barriers against the onslaught through the open armed gateway. The emotional void created due to the tragedy is substituted through our intervention.
